BRIEF: Chamber of Commerce names interim director

The Cedar City Area Chamber of Commerce named Neal Smith interim director, while the search team looks for a permanent replacement for Donna Brown.
Brown is resigning effective Sept. 14 and intends to start her own business, according to a press release from the Cedar City Area Chamber of Commerce.
Smith has been a resident of Cedar City since 2004 and been an active volunteer, as well as the President of the Cedar City Rotary Club in 2007-08. He also serves on the Happy Factory Board of Trustees, according to the press release.
